OUR HISTORY
Z-Safe was founded to revolutionize the Brazilian toxicology market. We believed that with the zebrafish embryo model we could generate more efficient and sustainable toxicological tests. With a well-established objective: to accelerate the R&D of new substances so they reach the market faster.
We understood that our experience of over 12 years of research with Zebrafish was a key point for our success. However, we needed resources to make this dream possible. It was then, at the end of 2022, that we were awarded two grants from StartupNE and CentelhaRN, which marked the beginning of this journey.
But we haven't stopped there. We are continuously improving our processes and developing new technologies with Zebrafish for application in various fields in the discovery of new substances.
OUR MISSION
We accelerate the research and development of new biochemical substances. We offer biosafety evaluation services for researchers and industries, using Zebrafish as an alternative model to the use of mammals, in order to reduce animal cruelty and ensure sustainability in toxicological testing.

Our facilities are located at the Biosciences Center - UFRN, with a fully equipped laboratory to perform toxicological tests, ensuring accurate and reliable analyses.
